Here is a record of some of Dr. Jader-Onate's patients who underwent clinical trials for the health benefits of coconut oil.  Some were even for weight loss.

Z. J. 61 years old, female, married, complaint of elevated blood pressure (BP – 180/100 Normal: 120/80), shortness of breath, slight neck enlargement, enlarge thyroid gland, which sometimes left a feeling of pressure over her neck, palpitation, irritability, body weakness, and slight eye protusion (exopthalmus). Lab results revealed elevated T3T4. Diagnosed as having Hyperthyroidism. Management done as carbimazole 30 mg daily Beta Blockers.

On the 2nd month of therapy, L-VCO was added (1 tbsp 3x daily). On the 3rd month of therapy, relief of above symptoms was noted. Trial of removing carbimazole and Beta blocker on the treatment was done, Virgin coconut oil (1 tbsp 3x daily) was maintained. Palpitations, body weakness, elevated BP did not recur, energy was boosted, hence Virgin coconut oil was maintained as treatment without the aid of other regimen. Usual conventional management of thyrotoxicon’s is 12 – 18 months.

S.R. 63 years old, male, married, is a case of Post Ceribro Vascular Accident (stroke) 4 years ago. Paralyzed left half of the body including left arm and leg. Conventional therapy and management was done which improved the situation. Constant headache, feeling of heaviness on the head, numbness of left upper and lower extremities, limping gait were always a problem. Trial of L-VCO (1 tbsp 3x daily) was given. Noted to have improved all the symptoms, boosted energy was noted after two weeks of taking Virgin coconut oil.

J.R. 82 years old, female, widow, had cough for two weeks. Diagnosed Acute Bronchitis given L-VCO. (1 tbsp 3x daily). Improvement of the illness noted after 3 days.

L.O. 60 years old, female, widow, had chronic pain over her knees, fingers, and numbness of both hands for two years. Diagnosed as Arthritis and given anti-arthritis capsules 3x daily. Afforded relief but complaint of drug reaction such as ringing in the ear, and abdominal pain. Trial on L-VCO being applied and massaged over the knees, fingers and hands. Relief of the symptoms was noted afterward.

G.M. 8 year old child, known asthmatic for 3 years, complaint of chronic cough for one month associated with difficulty of breathing. Diagnosed as Asthmatic Bronchitis. Management given an anti-asthma preparation, muculytics. Afforded slight relief. L-VCO (1 tbsp 3x daily) was added. Improvement of the illness was noted after 1 week.

M.O. 8 y/o, female, child, complaint of frequent urination associated with abdominal pain for 2 weeks. Lab results revealed pus cells on the urine. Diagnosed as Acute Urinary Tract Infection. Given antibiotics, antispasmodic for 1 week, which did not relieve the symptoms. Added L-VCO (1 tbsp 3x daily) to the treatment and a small amount of L-VCO massage over the abdomen. No complaint after 1 week of treatment, and repeat urinalysis gave normal results.

A.L.  18 y/o female had been overweight for several years.  Tried L-VCO (1 tbsp 3x daily) before meals followed by warm water, and lost 1 lb. after 2 weeks.

I.M.  19 y/o female had been overweight for several years. Tried L-VCO (1 tbsp 3x daily).  Lost 8 lbs. after 1 month.
