Lauric Acid...
...the amazing medium chain fatty acid in coconut oil!
For humans, the greatest food on earth has to
be mother's milk. It can supply all the vitamins, minerals,
proteins and fats a baby needs for the first year (and more) of
its life. Research shows that breastfed babies are healthier
than those who are not. Why do you think that infant
formulas try so hard to mimic mother's milk?
If you examine the makeup of mother's milk, you
will find a high concentration of lauric acid. And, of
course, lauric acid is the primary medium chain fatty acid found
in virgin coconut oil (VCO)!
Perhaps you have noticed that our name sounds
very familiar to the name of this important fatty acid (Laureece).
The amount of lauric acid in Laureece VCO is among the highest you
will find anywhere (between 56 to 57 percent).

Did you know that some infant
formulas, such as "Impact," contain lauric acid?
